About me
I am a humanistic psychotherapeutic counsellor and my work draws on existential, phenomenological, gestalt and relational therapy.
This incorporates my belief that every person is unique and thus my relationship with each client is unique. I aim to work in a way that welcomes your ‘you-ness’, your way of seeing and experiencing the world and affirms all parts of your identity including your age, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, culture, ability and neurodivergence.
I recognise that the relationship between you and your
therapist is the most important element in facilitating change, and I bring my warmth, empathy, curiosity and compassion to our work.

I firmly believe that a safe and compassionate relationship has the power to lead to meaningful change.

I previously worked in developmental psychology and specialised in providing social, emotional and mental health support to children and families in schools. I am interested in how our experiences and relationships as children shape who we are, our sense of self, and how we interact in the world. I bring this into my way of working, collaborating with you to make sense of your experiences and the impact that they have on you and your life.

I am committed to my ongoing professional development and am currently training to be a psychotherapist at Brighton University. In addition to my private practice, I also see clients at As You Are, a low-cost counselling service, and have previously been a counsellor at Macmillan Cancer Support.
